SitexOrbis secures three new contracts
The midland’s largest regeneration group Midland Heart renewed for a four-year term through a framework contract that started in mid-January and is estimated to be worth £1.1 million. Work involves clearing, cleaning and void security – some of which was previously with another contractor.
One of the nine housing associations in the area that have the option of using the framework contract, Stratford-based housing association Orbit Heart of England, has already confirmed it will switched clearing, cleaning and void security work estimated to be worth £90,000 to SitexOrbis. The work was previously with another contractor.
In addition, new customer North East Lincolnshire Council has awarded a three-year contract estimated to be worth £70,000 to provide specialist cleaning services to the council as well as to Shoreline Housing and the NHS Care Trust Plus. The work is to take place in sheltered housing, customer service centres and other sites and when required will include kitchen and carpet cleaning, the removal of bodily fluids and dealing with fire and flood damage.
SitexOrbis European Director Mark Cosh said: “We are delighted to have successfully retained so many customers in 2009 and to have started the year so positively in 2010. Existing customers should take pride that they have made the right decision when they see new clients acknowledging our service and innovation with new contracts and leaving our competitors. I believe this demonstrates we are continuing to deliver our promises to give value through innovation, deliver to service level agreements and to meet the needs of clients.”
